We successfully completed our photo of the day challenge for 2014! On the one hand, whew! That’s over. On the other hand, we’ve had a lot of requests to continue. Brandon and I have talked about what we want to do for 2015 and we both have different ideas. I went speak for him, but I’m going to try to continue posting every day. I’m going to attempt to put a little more structure into this year to coincide with other goals for the year, but there will be a photo every day. I’ll write more later about the changes I want to make, but for now, here’s my photo for today:
That’s Brandon attempting to light some little tank fireworks last night.
Happy New Year again, everyone! Here’s to a great 2015!
Found a friend at Target today.
One more day and we’ve completed our 365 days of photos!
I was supposed to have a reunion with several college friends today, but only one showed up. We still had a great time!
Since I didn’t actually take that picture, here’s a random one from today’s shopping spree:
Our nephew is doomed to be a percussionist. Both his parents are and everyone has embraced this idea, giving him two hundred different drum toys for Christmas. We were guilty also, but ours has lights and music and different drum sounds.
He seems to like it!
There’s a restaurant called Layne’s that’s kind of an institution in College Station. They only sell chicken strips and fries, but both are delicious and their special house sauce is amazing! A few years ago, a chain restaurant called Raising Cane’s moved in, literally next door, with the same menu and a very similar tasting sauce. I vowed to never eat there, but the chain has grown and I had a taste for Layne’s and no plans to go to CS on this trip. So when I saw a Cane’s down the street from where we were shopping today, I went for it.
It was tasty, but I feel like a cheater. Oh well.
Fun times! Thanks everyone!
