2014 had its highs and its lows, but overall it was a pretty great year. Here’s to a new year filled with more great things. Happy New Year, folks! Thanks for reading our little blog.
I got out the laptop today to show my sister-in-law some drum videos from Awa Odori. Kieran got really excited…not by drum videos (although he thought those were cool too), but by the computer.
My little travel buddies brought me good luck during my super fast layover (about 20 minutes) in Vegas.
I lost $2 on the quarter machine, but win $25 on the penny machine, so I left Vegas with an extra $21.
Today we fed the youngest nephew animal style French fries from In-N-Out.
They were a hit.
Here’s the youngest, but not the littlest nephew, Paul.
He’s a cutie!
Our nephew is doomed to be a percussionist. Both his parents are and everyone has embraced this idea, giving him two hundred different drum toys for Christmas. We were guilty also, but ours has lights and music and different drum sounds.
He seems to like it!
We spent the day with Brandon’s family to celebrate Christmas. We got some good quality time with a little elf named Oliver…our super adorable nephew.
The picture quality is crap, but my front facing camera us not great.
I have really been enjoying spending time with our nephew, Kieran, in the last couple of days. This evening was his baptism and he was, of course, ridiculously cute. As soon as it was time for the water, he had it under control. He knows what to do with water…
Play, of course!
Here’s something you don’t see in Japan (but you should):
A salsa bar. Oh Taco Cabana, I’ve missed you so much!
