I’ve watched Frosty the Snowman 5 times in recent days.
I hope the students enjoyed it!
I saw this guy outside of today’s school:
We had our second snow of the season today. Becky’s commute is quite long, and the snow was quite intense, so she didn’t go to work today. My commute is usually about 5-7minutes to my Wednesday school…it took me about 15-20minutes today! Craziness! Anyway, here are my snow photos for today:
Brandon tagged me in his Facebook black and white challenge, so I am also doing the same challenge. I’ve decided to try to get some more visually interesting images, which may get a little tough this week, but I’m going to do my best.
Today was rehearsal for our big performance showcase tomorrow, so I spent the day at a big performance hall. While setting up for a musical performance, I happened to glance inside the piano. It’s really interesting. If you’ve never looked inside a grand piano, you should.
I was tagged in a Facebook thing today, and I’m supposed to post black & white photos for the next 5 days. Today, I was at one of my kindergartens. We watched Frosty the Snowman and then made paper plate snowmen. They seemed to enjoy the show and the craft, so that was nice.
Today, at the start of one of my JHS classes, each student gave me a hand made Christmas card. It was unexpected and heart warming:
Such a lovely bunch of kids!
I saw this painted rock display at kindergarten the other day. They’re too cute!
Today, we made paper snowflakes in one elementary school class. I think mine turned out rather nice:
My 2 junior high schools had a teleconference class together, and the teacher was logging in from Tokyo. It was very interesting to see!
I was at one school, the other school was in a small window at the bottom of the screen, and the teacher was in a big window at the top. It was the first time they had tried something like this and it went fairly well. Good job!
I noticed this sign for the first time at today’s school:
On the box under it is this sign:
So, I guess if I pull these handles and ate things up right, I’d be able to safely leap out of this third floor window! Fun!
