Because I wish we were still in vacation, here’s another one from Tokyo.
I love vacations, but I start to miss my cat and my bed, so it’s time to head home.
We flew Jetstar out of Takamatsu, which is about an hour and half from home. It was a huge improvement over the car-ferry-train-plane thing we usually do.
And they upgraded up to the exit row for free. The flight was only an hour and a half, but check out all that space. It was great.
Right around the corner from our hotel is the Penguin Bar. We knew this before we came. Brandon made reservations and tonight was Penguin Bar night.
I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting, but it wasn’t really what I thought it would be. On the chop stock wrapper, it says “The Bar In Which Penguinsare Present” and that pretty much nails it. There’s a exhibit at the back of the bar with four penguins and you get to feed them one. And there’s lots of penguin stuff hanging in the bar, but the penguins don’t really wander around or anything.
The good and drinks were pretty good though.
My 2 junior high schools had a teleconference class together, and the teacher was logging in from Tokyo. It was very interesting to see!
I was at one school, the other school was in a small window at the bottom of the screen, and the teacher was in a big window at the top. It was the first time they had tried something like this and it went fairly well. Good job!
