Not only do they (supposedly) help a cat with their balance, they are also built in scarves.
If your nose gets cold while you sleep, just drape your tail over it!
Beautiful blue skies in the winter are like lies by omission. It’s like the outdoors are saying “It’s so beautiful today! Come out and play!” But what the outdoors aren’t telling you is that it’s ridiculously cold outside and it’s going to snow in a couple of hours.
It was a great day to fly kites with my kiddos. Blue skies, warmer temperatures, nice breeze.
Have I mentioned how much I love mikan? I have a serious love for mikan. They are the highlight of winter.
We have thrown in the towel. Waved the white flag. We have officially surrendered to winter. We have moved our bed downstairs to the living room for the duration.
It’s close and cramped, but at least it’s warm.
Oh…and Manmaru absolutely loves when we sleep downstairs. The food dish is so much closer.
I’ve watched Frosty the Snowman 5 times in recent days.
I hope the students enjoyed it!
I saw this guy outside of today’s school:
Yes, I’m still cheating and using the photo from my black and white challenge; mostly because I keep looking at them and telling myself “Wow…that’s actually a really nice photo!”
I took this one yesterday on my walk.
I really really like this one. Really.
We had our second snow of the season today. Becky’s commute is quite long, and the snow was quite intense, so she didn’t go to work today. My commute is usually about 5-7minutes to my Wednesday school…it took me about 15-20minutes today! Craziness! Anyway, here are my snow photos for today:
Wow did it snow last night. And today. And the temperatures haven’t risen about freezing all day. Actually, it’s officially been below freezing since about 3 p.m. Since there’s a ton of snow and a ton of ice out there, driving was definitely not safe, so I didn’t go to work today. I did get out from under my kotatsu and went for a walk for about an hour this morning. It was cold. My toes were frozen blocks of ice when I got home.
As much as I hate the cold, I have to admit undisturbed snow is really beautiful.
